Wisdom – it requires your mind

We have just finished preaching thematically through proverbs. I was fortunate enough to be able to participate in this series, and was asked to speak on Intellectual Wisdom. For the record other sermons in the series include practical wisdom, workplace wisdom, relationship wisdom, etc.
The focus of my sermon was what we do with our mind. I’ve been convinced for a long time that we do far less with our minds than we should do. Unfortunately the entertainment focused culture we live in has been well absorbed by believers and this has taken a huge toll on the church.
Hopefully this was both an encouraging and challenging sermon.
